I figured I might as well post bugs as I find them while trying the Pre-Alpha out.
Whenever I get a chance to play I will keep adding to this post with any additional bugs I find. I will try and post screenshots with them for examples :)
Bug 1 - typo on the peguin's speech. He says "shore" during his intro speech while you are reviving in the nurse's hut. it should instead be "sure"
Feedback 1 - I feel that the intro camera panning when you first see the town was too long. It's hard to see which building is which. I think it may be better when you first enter that area maybe? or change it so its one longer pan versus smaller ones that go black at the end of every scan through the buildings? the camera work felt a little jumpy from building to building I guess
I believe Papa-Pia said "shore" instead of sure on purpose, he was saying other pun type things during the conversation.
Feedback - With the save options I feel that it should have a notification that says your game has been saved. as it stands I saved at least 3 times to make sure it worked since I saw no prompt that told me it did.
Pressing esc also doesn't stop the daily timer. Neither does alt tabbing. I feel that these acts should pause the game.
Bug? - The inventory menu has arrows to have your character turn but they don't work. The character picture is just spinning non-stop. is this intentional? if so the arrows feel unnecessary.
Question: Are you guys going to add more hair color options or more detailing with the color? They seem a bit flat and could use some highlights/shadows
Feedback 3 - I like the map overlay you get with "N". The edges are a bit rough. Would be nice to be able to resize it or make it a bit clearer.
Bug 2 - I noticed by the blacksmith's hut that when you are walking around certain patches of grass/trees/shrubs are light with the sunlight then when you walk by they go dark, then walk away again and they light back up.
Feedback 2 - Menu needs to be explained better. I can't figure out how to get into settings or anything. Esc only allows to exit game. If this is intentional just for the pre-alpha, I understand. It just feels odd.
EDIT: Maybe add a menu button on the screen itself for easier access? also an inventory button.
