I was kinda putting some thought into getting monster hunter, and I was wondering if it was worth getting?

I've heard it both ways. I didn't care much for it myself, but other people love it. So here's what I recommend. If you have a gamestop in your area, go ask them to procure a pre-owned copy for you. That way, if you get it home, and you don't like it, you have 7 days to return it =).
I'm actually playing it right now! I'm a huge fan of the series, and I'd highly recommend it. If you have looked into it, and seem interested, go for it! I'd say 4U is a good way to get your foot in the door. World is coming out next year, and it looks great!
Thanks for your input!!! and that's exactly why I made this forum
That's good! Then you would probably like it. As for which game, hum. I will personally say 4U because it's a personal favorite and it has the most end-game content if you like putting hours into games. Might want to ask other people for their opinions, though.
I do play action games, and grinding isn't much of a big deal. I usually tell if games are worth it by the amount of hours I put into them. Which would be the best for people like me who have little experience and knowledge of the series?
I mean there are a lot of variables here to say if it's "worth it," but as a rabid fan with over 1000 hours in each game, I'm just gonna go with yes.
Do you normally like action games? Do you mind a spot of grinding?
Anyway, as for games there are a lot of ways you could go. You might want to start with 4 Ultimate because it's considered the best in the series(by most people), or you might want to start with Generations because it's the more recent game and has slightly more people playing it. You COULD start with XX too, the most recent game in Japan. Or you could wait for MonHun World.
